On Thursday afternoon I was interviewed by Shaun (brindle) and Dotty (black/white) so they could check I would be able to serve them to the standard they require when their primary humans are away.
Dotty still a little unsure, though my treat dispensing abilities were acceptable. Shaun was sold after the first ear scritch.
I shall be seeing them again soon!

Lower numbers in Flensburg🇩🇪 are always desirable - whether it's points for German drivers (traffic fines) - or district heating temperatures. By reducing the need for 95°C heat from 10 > 1%, it's much easier to let heat pumps take over most of the heat supply. That's what the local utility will do.

Transformation in Flensburg: low temperatures for efficient heat pumps
As an innovative public utility company, Stadtwerke Flensburg is committed to decarbonisation and CO2 neutrality. To achieve this goal, the municipal utility company is working with Gradyent to reduce temperatures in the district heating system. As part of the partnership, the two companies have found a way to reduce the necessary annual heat share with a temperature above 95°C from around 10% to 1%. This means that heat pumps can be used to a higher extent and operated efficiently.
